Dear American leftists. I may be a radical. But I'm not fucking stupid. I'm tired of this purity checking and end of the world doomerposting. Yes, we live in late stage capitalism. That's good: capitalism is self-destructive. There will not be a general strike or revolution in the United States any time soon, certainly not a successful one, because the US is a very different place than, say, 1910s Russia. We need more unions and parallel power and better education. Not calls for revolution. I'm a libsoc, borderline Makhnovist, not a traditional leftist. It's ok to disagree. But if you can't tolerate disagreement, feel free to block me, and spare me the anxiety of a long and unproductive discussion. #leftism #libsoc #socialism #US #brazil
