I got my first ever #knitpro symiphonie hook for this, you can change the cable length on it. I'm totally converted. It's the smoothest best hook I own. So much so I plan on buying a full set of hooks and needles over time.

Anna's CraftsI have a love and hate relationship to this #knitPro interchangeable Tunisian crochet hook.
I'm afraid it'll snap at the neck, and it is sharp. And it is the sharpness that causes the hate part, it catches the fuzz of the yarn in the hook way more then I'd like.
With blanket of the hook, I obviously can't just not start something new (well I cast on and did the first few rows weeks ago). #Poncho is the plan, simple pattern, made up of two rectangles put together.
I also got a nice delivery today, so maybe I can start up with a #poncho with #yarn from #myStash as well. I realized I only had short cables not already attached to a #wip. Well, I only had one long cable to start with.

YowieDropped into #bendigowoollenmills last week and found this gorgeous #variegated #purple 100% #australian #merino #wool #8ply #yarn. Being in the #bargain section, the three balls they had were it, and so not enough to make a #handknit #jumper (#sweater ) or #cardigan without playing #yarnchicken, so fell back to my default of #knitting #socks. Being so sidt, thick and #lush, they'll be perfect for my friend, Laura, who finds the bitter #chill of #winter in #Victoria almost unbearable.
They're knitting up very quickly on my #KnitPro #Zing #Interchangeables using #magicloop #2atatime (to avoid SSS - #SecondSockSyndrome) and the #fishlipskiss sock #pattern.
I suspect these will be the first of many I'll be knitting.
