Rudi, der "rote", ist der Hund, der als Kinderersatz seiner Halter fungiert. Und er macht die Hauptprobleme.
Bruno, der Havaneser, ist robust. Denn er wurde so erzogen, wie man einen großen Hund erziehen würde.

Wegen Rudi hätte sich Paulchen beinahe mit seinem anderen Kumpel bekämpft. Aber er zeigte in diesem Fall eine gesunde Unsicherheit.

Warum soll er einen Kumpel angreifen, nur weil einer seiner Buddies ihn angeht?
