Oh my god it's absolutely fantastic. Powerful, crisp, solid, very clear. A little hard compared to the A/B class (?) NAD 7020, but it is bound to sound crisper than the old warm hifi I'm used to. But the ZA3 is superb, and yes I do think driving it in XLR mode even though the output is not balanced line seems to sound a touch warmer, deeper.

Im using a normal PC out and boosting the output with FXSound, fantastic OS software.
