You, know, what I hate about learning #CAD isn't just that workflows are so absolutely mercilessly, brutally hierarchial - it's also & even moreso that the hierarchy is solely the responsibility of the user. If you e.g. forget to manually select the appropriate tool, geo etc. before taking the next step, it fails & the app just shrugs like "Not my fault; YOU did it wrong", doing NOTHING to help you do it right. Other apps do this too but few quite as dickishly as CAD apps 🤬

Seriously, learning #CAD is the motherfucking olympics of frustration 🤬 just spent almost two hours getting literally nowhere... I can't believe I'm doing this of my own free will 😂

Wanna know how bad it is? If you search for "user friendly CAD" you don't even get AI slop results - or, to put it differently, even the machines we built specifically for lying to us aren't bold enough to claim that such a thing exists.
