Tip: Rename the script from .txt to .fish for direct use with Fish shell.

fish has now made it far enough into the collective consciousness that it can be used to punctuate a joke, which I quite like #fishshell

Edit: two jokes, and I will say the comparison to malware is justified - thanks to years of focus on making it easy to install and use!

Just got home and ran an apt upgrade to bring my main system (Debian ftw) to Linux 7.x... everything’s running fine, even my AI stack survived the upgrade.

Update: just tested it. Dirty Frag is fixed too!!!

Pretty happy with my terminal setup again. Took me a while, because I recently switched both my terminal and prompt, but it's coming along nicely

OS: Asahi Linux (Unstable Debian Bananas) SSHed into a Debian Trixie machine
Terminal: Konsole
Theme: Spacechalk
Font: mononokai (with nerd fonts)
Shell: fish
ls replacement: lsd
Images: sixel

(The terminal background is transparent and so the image you see is just my desktop background, which is a photo I took of some graffiti in Amsterdam. Edit: added a second image so you can see what it looks like full screen when my desktop background changes to different photos I've taken - this time it's some flowers)

I like to install `keychain` to manage my SSH keys. When logging in for the first time after boot, it prompts me for the passphrase to unlock my key, then will maintain a single `ssh-agent` process across multiple login sessions.

Added a note about setting up keychain to launch at login for the fish shell.

Someone here posted about the #Starship prompt for the terminal once. I liked it a lot and decided to try. Then I found out #iTerm2 - a better terminal emulator. Then there were themes, color schemes, and finally, I discovered #Fish shell.

I now want to spend more time in my terminal than in UI.
