It succeeded. 💃🥳🎉

Puzzled though why, after login to the Plasma desktop, using Discover to install more apps via #Flatpak, it wants my root password. Seems inappropriate. 🤔🤷

Just updated a few things and now the QEMU Venus driver works on the QEMU extension for the virt-manager flatpak! - Now we just need some integration on Libvirt and everyone should:tm: have Vulkan accelerated GPU paravirtualization on VMM!

In my continuing journeys in #Linux I decided to try out #Fedora #Kinoite on an older Dell Latitude 5420 today. I have to say going immutable is not as hard as I was fearing. Especially because I am already deep in the #Flatpak life. I was able to connect to my NFS shares on startup, setup #Syncthing, and even update my firmware using #fwupdmgr with no issues. My next task might be going all in on my gaming PC, I just need to ween myself off #Destiny2.

@Imperor flatpak uses bubblewrap for sandboxing, unless I am mistaken, then flatseal configures those bubblewrap permissions. So, you could start your programs with it too. Another way would be AppArmor. Or, if you want something to keep your base system clean (this does not bring any security advantages) you could use distrobox.
