If you've spent any time searching for Linux videos on YouTube lately, you've probably noticed a trend, a flood of LLM slop. It is mass produced, copy and pasted, and it's diluting the quality content.

I enjoy calling it out in the comments section. It is surprising how many normal people reply with "I had no idea it was ai!" This is the best way to kill their audience. No one wants to see it if they know it was made with slop. What is truly entertaining is the hilariously generic defense they mount. I usually hit them back with something like "go learn a skill." It touches a nerve because they think they are actually doing something a chimp could not do.

You might say it is pointless but I always report these videos for not disclosing LLM content. Change doesn't happen when you're polite. Instead, it happens when you become a persistent pain in someone's ass and hold them accountable for basic content ethics.

Let's keep the pressure up. Be a pain in someone's ass.

Here is my Steam Replay 2025. This year was very hot or cold, depending on the moment. A lot of things happened in which changed both my method and my ability to play games at the time. Baldur's Gate 3, by far, is still the best game I have played since it's release (which I also played a ton of during its "early access" period.

I am so proud of my wife. She has moved over to GNU/Linux a few months ago and today she had her real first issue. Her Minecraft client, Prism, would not patch. She searched for a solution and was able to figure it out by updating Flatpak and enabling a setting in Flatseal. A lot of people would have been upset and just said "I don't know what to do!" She actually did the Linux thing and found the solution>

She seems to be enjoying her time on Linux Mint.
