I've gotten the information that there's a new open access book out, about - natural dyes! The book is the result of an EU project to help revive natural dyeing, but is mainly geared towards educational and artistic users. You can download the pdf for free from this website. After years on only knitting socks and shawls I finally braved the mittens, and this time also dipped my toes into colour work. They're knit in size 8/10 but were too short for my 8 year old, but that might be a me-made problem.

I usually have at least 3-4 different projects lying around. The project in one of my other project bags is a pair of knitted slippers for felting, because I have to use some wool from my stash before I can allow myself to buy new wool. It's going to be the first time I'll be felting and I do hope they turn out the right size.
