There has been construction on the main street by my house for awhile now, but they've been messing with utility lines the last week or so. The power flickers and brownouts are driving me batty. Despite hitting the cheapest gas/petrol station in the city and using points to knock 40 cents off per gallon, it cost me nearly $50 to fill my car. I never let it get below a quarter tank. Played a great mini concert in the community center of our next door village that is even smaller than our village. Still, about 50 people came to hear us, filling up the whole room. We had a lovely evening with music and song, happy people, a lottery and coffee with cakes. The big instrument in front of the scene is my tuba. My car (a Yaris) is just large enough for the instrument case.
