diesUndDasMitTassen 🇺🇦spedelec - fahre mit Fahrrad od. eBike ins Büro. Mit einem spedelec habe ich getestet, die Fahrzeit ggf. weiter zu reduzieren (ist wegen kürzerer Route durch Felder mit dem Rad geringer als mit dem PKW):
- trotz z.T. höherer Geschwindigkeit längere Fahrtdauer wegen anderer Route
- mehr Ampeln & Zebrastreifen
- Stau 😂 S T A U 😂
- Stress durch Nähe zu Autoverkehr und höherer Geschwindigkeit
Höher, schneller, weiter ist nicht immer besser 😉

I've ridden over 700km this year. Mostly since March. 😎
Feel free to scoff. I know it's small bikkies, TdF riders race that in 3-4 days! For me, it's momentous. 2025, I rode 50km. I've already ridden 14X that. Tbf, it was a poor year, 2024 was a better 530km, & I'm well ahead of that.
I'm enjoying mtbing again, & mostly look forward to going riding. Not always, I still have my days, but mostly.🤷

WallyApparently the California #Ebike Incentive was quietly led behind the shed and shot in the head late last year.
I was eligible for both rounds but being that I already have one I ultimately decided to not try so I wouldn't potentially take a spot from someone else, considering how few spots there were compared to demand.
I expected the program to expand as time went on and the program administrators saw the good a $1-2k voucher can do.
That was incredibly naive of me.

jonny (nonvenomous)With the new #ebike regs in CA, I now have to pedal my ebike at least when I see cops. I love to bike, I love my roadie, but my ebike is halfway to emoto with a fat seat and pedaling is awkward as hell. The biggest problem is that the gearing is ridiculous, like I can get maybe 2 turns of the crank in when starting, but anything above 15 and I am just flapping my legs around pointlessly like a Looney toons character.
I think I need to swap out my chainring and just get a humongous one, I know those are in style anyways, but there's no other way than that to get more mechanical advantage so that when I'm going 30 I'm actually able to contribute some power, right?
