My new wax heater arrived, immediately raising a concern. Will I be *profeessional* enough? 🤔

I've happily used suspended wax "dry" chain lubricant on mtbs for years, & now I'm going full wax. I'll be soaking clean chains in hot wax, getting wax inside the rollers to lubricate without attracting dust or dirt, which turn into grinding paste.

Some say the faff is pointless, others are evangelists. I guess I'll find out. It's not costing me much 🤷

I've ridden over 700km this year. Mostly since March. 😎

Feel free to scoff. I know it's small bikkies, TdF riders race that in 3-4 days! For me, it's momentous. 2025, I rode 50km. I've already ridden 14X that. Tbf, it was a poor year, 2024 was a better 530km, & I'm well ahead of that.

I'm enjoying mtbing again, & mostly look forward to going riding. Not always, I still have my days, but mostly.🤷

Is my mental tide turning?
