I want to thank you all for the good wishes today.

I'm feeling better now: the Novocain has worn off, the bleeding has (finally) stopped, the swelling has mostly gone down, and the pain has lessened. I have survived my dental encounter and don't need to go back for four weeks.

Though with both sides of my mouth worked on today, I can't chew anywhere. I'll be living on protein shakes and ice cream for a while.

Update 3: Blue’s had to go to the emergency room. It cost $2,800 for the visit. I have covered this cost. Don’t worry, I’ll be ok. Now all that’s left is the tooth extractions, which will be roughly $1,800 to $2,000.

Been home from the dentist for about an hour or so now. The appointment went a LOT better than expected, at least for today.

They are referring me to an endodontist for what will likely be a root canal on one of my front teeth that I'm not excited about at all.

After that, at some point, I need to have some gum grafting done in two different spots, which will be done across two different appointments that will be about 4 - 6 weeks apart.
