Another day, another 1100 words written on my WIP. Then my chronic pain kicked in and I had to stop.
But pain or not, I'm happy I'm being able to write every day again. I'd be even happier if I could come up with a decent working title for the book. "New Rownt Novel" just isn't what I want.
Apropos of several things floating across my TL, I just want to say as somebody who teaches college:
Yes, absolutely, politically conservative students on campus end up feeling uncomfortable in their views, constantly challenged. 100%.
So do leftists.
So do centrists.
So do students who attempt to be apolitical.
Nobody gets to hang out on campus feeling comfortable and cushy in their worldview. That is…you know…kind of the point of the place.

Good morning!
My foot is much better today, if not quite 100%. I skipped my early-morning walk mostly because I didn't want to walk in the rain, and it's going to keep raining all day long.
So this will be another day of staying home and writing. I'd like to finish this draft before June 13 when school ends and my upstairs neighbor starts being home all day. That's probably not going to happen, but I'll try to get close to that anyway.
Have a good one, my friends.

#WritersCoffeeClub May28. Have you ever done a writing mentorship? What was your takeaway?
No, I have not.
#ScribesAndMakers 28May—Have you ever made an app?
No. I wouldn't have the first idea how to make one.
#WordWeavers 28May—Would your story still work in a vastly different location? Why or why not?
No. My stories are set in medieval England and are dependent on its culture and environment. Moving them would require so many changes that they would be unrecognizable.
I live in a very quiet, low-crime neighborhood. So when I arrived at the supermarket this morning to find five police cars, two ambulances, and a fire truck in front of it, I was, to put it mildly, surprised.
This being the USA, my first thought was a mass shooting. But no, people were calmly coming and going from the store as if nothing was wrong. Nothing seemed wrong when I went inside either.
It turns out that one of the grocery workers passed out on the floor and another called 911. Pretty much every first responder we have showed up.
A quiet neighborhood indeed.

Good Tuesday morning. Since Monday was a holiday I’ll spend the rest of the week being confused over which day it is.
We have a busy week. My youngest daughter will be moving back in with us to save money. It will be an adjustment for all of us.
My middle daughter celebrates a birthday midweek, so attention must be paid. 😊
Yesterday was a mellow day of reflection. Now we jump into action. Life goes on.

Hey, y'all 👋. Good Tuesday morning to ya.
It's another damp n cloudy start to #myday again #today, with more rain due to pour on us anytime now.
But, at least it's a warm 69deg, and the birds are singing their "get your butt outa bed" songs through my bedroom window, meaning it was time to rise n shine. 🥱
The power blinked during the night. So, I'm sitting n waiting to start my morning coffee sipping in a bit. ☕️
There's not much else to toot about. My day looks like every Tuesday #today with nothing special planned other than staying dry inside and probably watching the rain 🌧.
Y'all have a happy Tuesday doin your Tuesday stuff. Try to stay dry n all that, too. 💪🖖
