In times past preachers felt comfortable presenting blanket condemnation of enjoying #entertainment as trifling diversions. Such was never appropriate or wise.

People need times of #refreshing and #repose. When Saul was afflicted, he was comforted by David's music. God commanded Israel to observe the #Sabbath as a time of rest.

There can be profit in enjoying entertainment, especially when we share in that entertainment with our fellow people of God.
