It has always bothered me that I have never written a song. The closest I came was writing a bridge for a song I was covering last year.

Today my cat woke me up at an ungodly hour, to which my brain reacted by spontaneously singing an original lyric. Recognizing what I might have, I quickly grabbed my phone and jotted down that flash of inspiration so I wouldn’t forget it.

I just fleshed out three variations of that chorus—which is swell. Now I need to come up with verses & stuff. #Daunting

Although it is sometimes #daunting, not knowing what's around the corner can be exciting and intriguing. This is the feeling we have had during our #walks in unfamiliar surroundings over the past few days 🚶‍♂️

We have been filled with joy when we have encountered beautiful #flowers or we have been presented with a view overlooking a secluded cove as the sunlight glistens on the surface of the sea! This was more than enough reward for any exertions 😃
