It's tough to "cure and prevent all disease" when your org focuses on biomedical and AI research (things that may lead to improvements in the future) to the exclusion of sociopolitical origins of disease and poverty (things that cause harms to billions of people *now*).

I feel like it was obvious from the get-go that this org is a vehicle to launder big tech funds for #AI in #science

Jak podsumowuje amerykański Business Insider, ten trend widać wszędzie. Nawet w sprawozdaniach finansowych firmy Meta słowo „compute” (moc obliczeniowa) padało wielokrotnie, podczas gdy słowo „metaverse” nie padło ani razu.
