Spotted outside Hotel Zoo in Berlin was this beautiful Citroën Ami 8 wagon, introduced in the early '70s as a more understated and stylish facelift to Flaminio Bertoni's whacky Ami 6.

The Ami 6 was critically important for Citroën in that it was intended to be a' stopgap' car between the 2CV and something bigger that was planned for later — but instead, the Ami 6 and then the Ami 8 soldiered on for 17 years.

Kia Niro EV, shot on my drive from Adelaide to Melbourne after the national media launch.

I really like the Niro, although most of my colleagues don't. It's far from perfect, but I like the styling and it's a great size. It's too expensive compared to its rivals, at around 67k — you're into a Tesla Y or Polestar 2 for that kind of money — but in isolation, I dig it.
