Spotted outside Hotel Zoo in Berlin was this beautiful Citroën Ami 8 wagon, introduced in the early '70s as a more understated and stylish facelift to Flaminio Bertoni's whacky Ami 6.
The Ami 6 was critically important for Citroën in that it was intended to be a' stopgap' car between the 2CV and something bigger that was planned for later — but instead, the Ami 6 and then the Ami 8 soldiered on for 17 years.
