TFW you are so desperate for compute, that you're reading a public Atlassian #Confluence instance to find the magic serial console parameters to gain access to the machine.

Confluence sucks internally, but as a public form of documentation - WTF?

Ich merke so langsam, wie entweder ich mich von der ganzen aktuellen IT-Bubble entferne oder die IT-Bubble sich von der Realität entfernt. Wenn ich z.B. #confluence und #jira betrachte, kann man eigentlich nicht bekloppt genug sein, sowas tatsächlich in Betrieben und Verwaltungen einzusetzen. Genauso wie alle andere cloudbasierten und/oder #SaaS Produkte.

Die Kronjuwelen jedes Betriebes nicht im eigenen Keller sondern alles in anonymen Bunkern der Anbieter zu haben und dann auch noch Knebelverträge.

Es kann mir niemand erzählen, das wäre schlau, nachhaltig und sicher. Ich persönlich finde es dumm und gefährlich. Genauso wie das Schicksal seiner Firma an eine KI bei einem der Platzhirsche auszulagern.
