Ad astra per aspera… Weekly Recap 3/16/2026
I have this fantasy…
…have I talked about it before?
Selene and I acquire an RV. We then travel across the country in a leisurely fashion, taking detours when we feel compelled and setting up camp in interesting locations each evening.
There’s other ways to go cross-country, sure. Cars are too cramped. Busses are too slow. Trains are nice, but skip too many interesting places. Airplanes don’t really count. And I can’t bike that far… or run… I mean, I’m not Forrest Gump.
RV wins.
This plan would obviously require a huge amount of uninterrupted time off from life. And an RV. We don’t have either of those at the moment… but one day, we will!

I have shifted just about 100% of my attention this past week to finishing my book. Since it was Spring Break, I didn’t have any classwork to focus on. Guys… I am almost done. The finish line is in sight.
We had late night ritual on Friday… and Spring Equinox is coming up very soon. Anyone have any cool plans?
Here’s some neat stuff that I’ll be a part of later this year:
Now… let me flood you with pictures and tell you all about the magickal, belated anniversary trip Selene and I just took this past weekend.
We stayed at Casa Coquina, a bed and breakfast in Titusville, FL, and explored some of the surrounding areas—Coco Beach and Cape Canaveral.
Our hosts left a bottle of wine and a handwritten card in our room to wish us a happy anniversary.
Here’s what the rest of other room looked like.
There you have it, the first ‘b’ in “B&B.” Bed.
Down the hall, there was a reading room with strange books and telescopes.
If your B&B doesn’t have a life size knight, a phone booth, giant stuffed bears, or a creepy sculpture of a director lady, then you’re probably not in the right spot.
And yes, they provided breakfast.
Thus accounting for the second ‘b’ in “B&B.”
Here’s what the nearby beach looked like…
The water was really cold, so we only stayed for a few minutes.
And then we took this wonderfully serendipitous journey to find an oracle. Well, not just an oracle. Oracle Hekataios. The one and only.
We were wandering around Coco Village just to see what it looked like, randomly parked near some government building, then walked down a couple of streets… when suddenly we came across this sign directly in front of us.
If you are in the area, make sure to stop by Ravens Oasis in Historic Coco Village. Their store is amazing! And you might just encounter an oracle!
We ate dinner that night watching the sunset over the water.
The food wasn’t necessarily anything to write home about…
The view, however, was awesome.
The restaurant had live music and a sunset ceremony. At 7:30pm, everyone (including staff) stopped what they were doing to turn and face the sun while Con te Partiro played in the background. I didn’t have the heart to tell them, but that’s some seriously witchy shit right there. So we knew we were in the right place.
The next day we went to Kennedy Space Center.
It was a really cool trip. And outside of all the spacecraft, we also saw bald eagles, dolphins, alligators, and a bunch of other creatures. Selene apparently even saw an armadillo.
We stopped at an Indian restaurant on the way home. It was delicious.
And if you were wondering about my progress, I’ve made it to the Elite 4… but I’m stuck on the dragon guy.
Well, we’re back home now.
I will hopefully have a new M3 episode finished for you later this week.
