Oh, brilliant. I love it! Using double slashes to indicate memories conflicting with realities for a character works! One slash, meh, okay, but seeing two? That's a HUGE cue that something here deserves attention.

I'm doing another run through Every Sky a Stranger for @LJ , by mutual agreement. (Not every project needs a second go after the client has incorporated edits, but when the client feels it's worth the time, I'm happy to do it.)

I'm sitting here looking at what she did and nodding.

It's a delight, truly, seeing how clients take my work and make it theirs. An addition here, a tweak there. Things I didn't change or suggest that they took upon themselves to do.
