The choice to be okay is your own. It's not about what's happening around you. It's not about what other people are doing or not doing. It's not about anything other than what you're thinking and how that's making you feel.
Change happens the minute you recognize you have a choice in the matter. You do not have to focus on that problem. You can choose to focus on the problem if it's yours, if you have control. and if you have a solution to it; otherwise leave it alone and don't focus there.
Learning to be okay where you are is a lesson I've taken on at great length over the last couple of years. To get anywhere within myself or in my work, I've had to be okay where I am. You can tell when I'm arguing with it too, things stop happening.
Perfect focus is not a thing. It's not that you'll never be distracted by shiny objects also known as problems, ever again. It just means that you can allow yourself to be okay more often. It means you argue with your circumstances less and you stop fighting against the change you're trying to create.
Can you see the pattern in your focus and can you change it? This is where your control is. Use it wisely.
