Meta MCP: Chaining Tools via Prompt-Driven Arguments

This post explores the concept of an MCP tool that can chain multiple tools within a single request, where the arguments for each tool can be dynamically generated using prompts based on the outputs of previous tools.

How to compose JavaScript functions that take multiple parameters (the epic guide)

Function composition is beautiful. It lets us create elegant function pipelines. And when everything lines up, the data flows like maple syrup over pancakes. But what happens when the functions don’t line up? What if some of those functions expect more than one argument? What do we do?

Majorizing measures: the generic chaining

Majorizing measures provide bounds for the supremum of stochastic processes. They represent the most general possible form of the chaining argument going back to Kolmogorov. Majorizing measures arose from the theory of Gaussian processes, but they now have applications far beyond this setting. The fundamental question is the construction of these measures. This paper focuses on the tools that have been developed for this purpose and, in particular, the use of geometric ideas. Applications are given to several natural problems where entropy methods are powerless.

@thequirkybraincoach #chaining is a recent discovery for me and I love it. It works for me as it doesn't involve the demands of lists or doing things at particular times. Also that each chain is separate from the others so that they can be done in any order through the day/week. I'm currently managing to wash up before I can no longer access the kettle which is a revelation. Somehow it seems to get done without me fully noticing that I'm doing it (and therefore resisting doing it). Next task is to work out a chain that includes teeth brushing and bathroom cleaning..
