Been outside for half an hour or so. We have 27° C. Now I'm back in on the other side of the house, where it is a lot cooler. And that feels and is much better for me.

I am trying something new to prevent the #squirrels from eating up all the #birdfood - #sunflower #seeds that is. If you let them they will empty the #feeder in a few hours. At times we have 3 or 4 of them in our kitchengarden.

And at night we have even more visitors: roe #deer and #racoons, which are really a pest and a threat for every living being in our garden and forest...

I digress... I am not using a thin stand as before but hung up the feeder. As t is fairly close to the wall I twisted a thorny twig around the wire to keep the squirrels from climbing to the feeder. Hah!

But they will try for sure.
We shall see if that works. 🙂

It went quite slow at first, but the last few days the #birds ate half of the food 😱.

It's #nice 🥰. So many little birds in the backyard. Mainly #housesparrows and #greattits (we're talking birds people...). They especially like being on the inside, where they can quickly hide in the tree. The house sparrows are very careful, not letting themselves be photographed easily. But the great tits are a bit more daring.

Ugh, I HATE this. I NEVER know which wine to get. Which wine pairs with sunflower seeds, millet, corn, dandelion greens, grass, AND worms?!? I wish they just TOLD me red, white, or rosé. I'm definitely tweeting about this later.
