The Behaviorists & PsyD’s (yes, even that blow hard) ask that Doctors of Philosophy (PhD’s) remember you are those unafraid to think deeply (yet unable to keep those thoughts to yourselves) you are damaging the psyche of societies. You know…here in the present.

We thank you. #psyche #behaviorists #phd #PsyD #press

It's very important when talking about #LLM & "#AI" to remember that the #AITrueBelievers (& their Bullshit Artist #FellowTravelers) don't believe there's any fundamental difference between human thought & what LLMs do.

They're basically the modern equivalent of radical #behaviorists, presuming that human #consciousness is an inconsequential #epiphenomenon. Nevermind that they're fundamentally misunderstanding the metaphor upon which #epiphenomenalism relies.

This would be manageable if the other autistic people in the chat were folks who'd been around in the community for a while, experienced ppl who aren't vulnerable to #gaslighting or continuing efforts to isolate us, or the kind of faux-benevolent #eugenics bullshit Autism Parents and #ABA type #behaviorists go for.

But I swear it's JUST ME.

And I only know what I do bc the corner of the #neurodiversity community I met first was autistic POC before I knew about me.

Jaron #Lanier:
"#Behaviorists had this feeling that might be a little like this godlike feeling that overcomes some #hackers these days, where they feel as though they have the keys to everything and can control people.
~They found that noisy feedback works better than consistent feedback. That means that if you're pressing the button to get your treat, and once in a while it doesn't work, it actually engages your mind even more" - be you a rat, a dog or a person
