I've posted these before but I was appreciating them again in the early morning sunlight today. Hand made by two of my great grandmas.
I don't want to use them on a bed and risk wearing them out, but I also don't want to keep them hidden away in storage.

Found two fab books at Oxfam in Huddersfield.

The first, published in 1947, is a history of textile production in our local area, including some illustrations & a great map. I pretty much bought it for the map alone 😅

The second - I love Native/First Nation/indigenous design & art. While this is also pretty dated, a quick flick through it in the shop revealed it includes information about fibre preparation & dyes as well as the actual weaving, so it should still be interesting.
