Viele Wasservögel hatten Babyvögelchen. Die Haubentaucher konnten sich nict in Ruhe putzen, da die Stöpsel immer auf den Rücken klettern wollten.

Die Bachstelze hat den Vierfleck gekonnt im Flug gefangen. Sah sehr spektakulär aus.

Saw a glossy black crow today land on the upper rail of the deck between me and my neighbour. It flew down to the bird feeder and was immediately chased off by a mockingbird.

I've seen up to 3 mockingbirds at my feeder, this was only the second time I've seen a crow. The mockingbirds are keeping them away. And they are a lot smaller than the crows.

I love discovering the hierarchy of the feeder, which birds give way to which others.

Heute einen guten Vogeltag gehabt. Bevor der Regen kam. U.a. Brandseeschwalben (Foto) und Zwergseeschwalben (kein Foto), dazu schön singende Rohrammern (Foto) und Rauchschwalben und Grasmücken (Foto Dorngrasmücke)
