This article says #Lockheed can produce 12 fighters a month. The US produced 300,000 fighters during #WW2. I certainly don't want to see another conflict like that, and I know modern fighters have very different capabilities compared to those fighters, but I am amazed at the discrepancy. How much money are we pouring into this project again? How does this make sense to anybody but the shareholders? Serious question.
