Thanks to some long overdue #TechnicalJiggeryPokery, I now know way more about networks than I ever planned on learning.
I've also apparently found the "What's a VLAN?" to "I have over a dozen hostname.if files" pipeline.

Coders of the fedi, lend me your advice:
Now that my coding apprenticeship is almost certainly torpedoed, I'm going to have to find _yet_ another way to become a coder. I'm not going to give up, if I have to do it on my own, so be it.
Advise me on your best coding courses that are reasonably priced. I'm looking at C/ C# / (?) Fairly lowish level languages to learn to get a broad understanding. Tia

Final update before the big launch next week:
My manager is back and has agreed I can do Python, so yay! Induction is next Wednesday and I'm nerveously excited. I wish I had my Framework 12 by then, but not going to happen. My borrowed Dell 5300 will have to suffice for now.
After (roughly) 15 years, I finally get to learn coding "properly" (not self taught or free course with no help or stupid expensive 6 year degree (all things I've tried)).
One of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me was: "You make me want to go learn stuff." When I write, I hope I can inspire other people to want to learn stuff, too.

Tkinter is indeed a piece of shit for accessibility.
Annoyed because Claude was teaching me to build this file organizer in Tkinter, but repeated attempt after repeated attempt to get it to play nice with NVDA went nowhere.
So now I have to convert everything to PyQt6.
Bright side? Claude assures me that this is a much better fit for accessibility and also will work with future features I wanna implement down the road as my skills improve.
I have this crazy fucking idea to build my own file manager and explorer that I'd actually want to use daily.
I've gained a whole new level of respect for printmakers who manage larger consistent editions.
I think I've got fifteen for my #rescueTransRescue project, and a huge stack of prints which I like, and do not match well enough.

I had to avoid screens for a bit yesterday, and one of my partners helpfully reminded me that #gelplate printing was a fine way to pass the time.
I finally started having some success transferring images, in this case ink brush doodlings on paper made their way to the plate, and then to my paper without it being by accident.
