I had a TERRIFYING night last night with a Korean Horror magnum opus! A Tale of Two Sisters directed by much respected director Kim Jee-Woon who would later direct some of my absolute favourite films thanks to I Saw The Devil and The Age of Shadows.
Seriously not used to Horror films and so watching the second scariest Asian flick EVER (according to ImDb) was totally crammed with dreaded jumps and scares in some unexpected scenes! 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱🫣

So one of the problems/successes of psychological horror films with me is that I spend most of the time when I’m watching one scaring myself predicting (usually wrongly) what’s going to happen or when there’ll be a jump scare. Happy to report that this film scared me silly even though most of that was in my head and not on the screen.
