A recent survey conducted by the SWITCH to Circular Economy Value Chains project, in collaboration with Chatham House and IPSOS Mori, reveals a significant concern among Moroccan citizens regarding plastic pollution. The survey, which engaged over 1,000 individuals from six regions, found that 94% of respondents believe in the importance of properly disposing of waste plastics, surpassing even concerns about climate change. With 70% strongly agreeing on the need for effective plastic waste management, the survey highlights Morocco's increasing environmental consciousness.
