#zsavoyager #zsa this keyboard is getting less lightweight with the trackball but it’s still very much transportable (you don’t *have* to take the trackball everywhere either).
I’m really enjoying that trackball. After using various dedicated brands for years, ZSA’s actually very good and there’re lots of “buttons” on that trackball. 😄
I'm a #mechanicalkeyboard fan, currently using the Owlab Spring Alice layout keyboard and I really like it. But I've always wanted to try a split keyboard like the #zsavoyager, with mounting options, tenting, etc.
Came across curved ones like the Glove80 while researching, and this #Kickstarter project for stem risers or what they call tilters. I can't wait to try out this concave shape keycap setup! Anyone else here swears by the #Glove80 or equivalent?

I'm selling my ZSA Voyager. UK only. £200. Let me know if youre interested.
@toni_lijic Way too late of a reply but I thought I’d chime in since you weren’t able to get any response.
I’ve been using a #zsavoyager for a little over a year now, and I’m mostly very happy with it.
- It works well for my small hands
- The low profile allows me to type while my keyboard tray is stowed in. It being small enough also means that I have more room for the mouse, though that’s only important when I game with KB&M
- Super easy to bring them around with the given bag
ZSA is really good at #keyboards 😍, and really bad at capitalism* 😁. I broke a part on my #ZSAVoyager and emailed to buy a replacement PCB (1/3 the total cost of the board!). I didn't ask about using the warranty because I'd made some mods that voided the warranty ages ago, but they looked up my order, saw it was still under warranty, and said they'd apply it. I thanked them and said I'd voided the warranty so I'd just pay for the replacement, but they said the mods I'd made wouldn't have caused the problem so if it would be okay with me they'd like to cover it anyway.
*I love them for this
A few weeks ago I set aside my #ZSA #Voyager and considered switching back to Apple keyboards full time.
The reason: I want to use home row mods on my Voyager. But I couldn’t teach my fingers to stop rolling from, say, S to T. With home row mods, with S doubling as Alt, that often resulted in † (Alt-T) instead of st.
But now ZSA has added Chordal Hold to their keyboard configurator. https://blog.zsa.io/chordal-hold/
This fixes the one annoying problem I've had with my otherwise lovely #ZSAVoyager.
A rarely advertised benefit of using a split keyboard is that you can still type with the cat on your desk.
