Nesse momento em que a palavra #dopamine está na boca do mundo, eis a minha fórmula para me concentrar e trabalhar minha ansiedade: fiar, como ato de fazer um fio a partir de fibras têxteis (no caso da foto abaixo a lã).

Resultado de mais ou menos 10 dias de trabalho: 1200 metro de fio de lã fiado numa roca. Horas e mais horas de trabalho manual intenso e, contraditoriamente, relaxante (mentalmente falando).

Fiar demanda atenção e presença.

Early birthday present last night!

These are the contents of the #Eurovision themed yarn box from @baabaabrighouse, minus a "sofa judge" badge that isn't pictured because I was already wearing it.

Absolutely no idea what I'm going to make with such colourful yarn but it's so pretty, for now I'm happy to just sort of pet it and eat the chocolate 😁

There are adorable little guitar stitch markers, and music-themed buttons too!

With the #DiscworldMAL kicking off tomorrow I've been trying to decide on a yarn for my planned Eskarina Socks.

One one hand, the stitch pattern will look great in a nice mostly-solid colour, and you all know I love green. Also that's Rachel Coopey's yarn brand, ie the designer of the actual sock pattern, which would be nice and tidy 😁

On the other hand, this weird and wonderful Noodle Soup yarn has all the shades from the description of octarine, so I can't think of much more suitable for Esk.

Naturally then, I've caked them both up and will see how I feel tomorrow 😅
