If it is specifically needed to label it as LGBTQIA+, I do. If it's not needed, I leave it to the reader to find out. There will most likely be at least one or more characters in any of my stories who would fit the LGBTQIA+ umbrella term, and I write about them as much as I do cisgendered heterosexual individuals. This variation is normal and none should be treated different from the others. #Writing #WritingQuestion

These speech patterns are a normal part of everyday speech, but I can't recall seeing it in literature. Everyone is precise and perfect (enough) because it would be too hard for the reader.
