#ScribesAndMakers 4/4: How do you answer if someone asks you what you do? Is your answer different in person than it is online?
In person, I tell people that I'm a writer and that I earn a living pushing numbers at a day job.
Online, most people only see my writer persona anyway, so I explain that less. (Yes, Hannah is my pen name.)
It is the truth, though. In my heart, I'm a writer (and a teacher), and that is how I see myself.
40+ books don't lie, either. 🙃
So I was thinking what type of character I want to add to the supporting roster, and then it hit me. There are already two potential love interests that love messing with the MC. So why not add a third one.
And that's how Bernadette came to be. She's a fiery waitress at the tavern the MC frequents often after shifts. She enjoys teasing him and sees him like a younger brother whose love life is entertaining to watch.

Yes, but it depends on who is asking. Irl I'll say I'm either a content creator or author, but online I go is dependent on what project I remember I'm working on (and sometimes add on an aspiring musician as well)
For any #writers with books out (old, new, trad, hybrid, indie, doesn't matter!) I have 1 slot left in May for an Author Spotlight interview, and then lots free from June-Dec (some slots spoken for in advance around launch dates etc).
I don't charge for Spotlights.
