I agree with this whole heartedly. Though I'm in the creative arts (music and writing), at one point I was a computer toucher. I even went to university to study IT with a focus on forensics and cyber crime. But looking back, I could never get out of my creative mindset. And that really did drag me down (at least in school).
please, computer touchers, sneak into art school and befriend even a single artist

Hi fedi folk - It’s lovely to be here! I just moved from mastodon.social to sunny.garden and think it’s time for an #introduction.
I’m Bearina, 30-something from Mannheim, Germany. I make #zines, #ArtistTradingCards and have become a #printmaker recently. I also got back into #photography a few days ago which was my first hobby. I got my first point and shoot camera when I was 12 and fell in love with it before that, using my parents camera and strolling through the neighborhood. I like seeing creativity around me and love to get inspired by other artists.
#SciFi is my jam and I love movies in general. And bears! Lovely creatures.

So whoever she sides with would have one of the conditions for two of the gates fulfilled as well as the powers (albeit dormant at the moment) of two gods. And these are not just two ordinary gods. These are two gods that stand at the pinnacle of their respective sides. So yeah, she's definitely a problem for whoever gets on her bad side.
Now that brings me to my issue. If you've seen the cover for Awakening, you already know the four Underworld gods. Though here's a quick look if you haven't.
So for the gate to open, three things need to happen:
1. The Skyworld god or their descendant be in front of it
2. The Underworld god or their descendant be in front of it
3. The horseman guarding it be defeated and acknowledge the person who has defeated them.
The reason why Roxanne is concerning is because she herself can unlock two gates; Hades and her mother's (not sure if I mentioned it in Awakening).
So the concept and title for book two in the Divine Wars series has actually been decided for a while now. Titled Gates of the Apocalypse, it was supposed to go more into the lore of why Roxanne was such a terrifying presence to the Skyworld gods and the dragons. And the gates that kept "Earth" from being overrun was kept in check by three beings; an Underworld god, a Skyworld god and a horseman of the apocalypse.
