Il risultato di 6-1 6-4 lascia poco spazio all'interpretazione e strappa all'altoatesino il biglietto per la finale di domenica. 
Con questa vittoria, Jan diventa il decimo italiano a conquistare la finale del primo Master 1000 su terra rossa della stagione, a cui lo scorso anno aveva dovuto rinunciare per via della sospensione dal circuito. Sul centrale, Sinner affronterà il vincente fra lo spagnolo e numero 1 al mondo Carlitos Alcaraz e il monegasco Valentin Vacherot che alle 15:30 entreranno in campo.

The score of 6-1 6-4 leaves little room for interpretation and gives the Alto Adigener the ticket to Sunday's final.

With this victory, Jan becomes the tenth Italian to win the final of the first 1000 Master clay-court tournament of the season, which he had to forfeit last year due to suspension from the circuit. On center court, Sinner will face the winner between the Spaniard and world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and the Monegasque Valentin Vacherot, who will enter the field at 3:30 PM.

Primo set senza storia, con l'altoatesino che strappa subito il servizio al n.3 del mondo e poi replica portandosi sul 4-0. Un terzo break vale il primo set. Nel secondo il tedesco, visibilmente stanco dopo la sfida di ieri nei quarti con Joao Fonseca durata oltre due ore, trova continuità e ritrova anche la battuta.
