Today's edition of make-the-web-work-for-me includes some #UserCSS to give me visual indicators overlayed on my youtube thumbnails.

Started at 100% being a YT-red color checkmark-- then added > 90% being an orange color. The overlay hides on thumb hover.

Also some JS to dynamically replace the thumbs and text with lorem-- for screenshotting purposes.

One thing I would love to see natively supported in @Vivaldi is tabs under the address bar.

This is a relatively basic UserCSS applied on top of tabs below content. I _love_ how airy and inviting the header looks now. The problem is that this doesn’t work with Tab Stacks (which I personally don’t mind as I don’t use them).

Here’s the UserCSS I use: https://gist.github.com/robertjacobsen/725a79237c3e8a65441c7b1289f910f2

I made a very simple user style to make the editor for openstreetmap a bit easier for colorblind people: https://userstyles.world/style/15387/openstreetmap-org-colorblind-friendlier (it just makes the buildings yellow instead of red)

When you edit the map the buildings are now yellow instead of red, that's it.

#Vivaldi

Erstmal den grell weißen Hintergrund der Website kachelmannwetter.com (wie https://kachelmannwetter.com/de/regenradar/deutschland für Regenradar Deutschland) mit User-CSS abgedunkelt:

html, body, .navbar-own, .navbar2-own, .kw-site {
background-color: #666;
}
input, select.form-control, .form-control {
background-color: #999;
}

Nutzbar zum Beispiel in der Firefox-Erweiterung Stylus.

I decided to mod the Mastodon emoji picker with a #UserCSS, and it is pretty darn inefficient. But so is it cool!

(And by the way all of these animations are technically JS-free. Take that, big tech!)

Anyone have an improved bookmark #UserCSS segment to clean the #bookmark menu dropdown in #Firefox? I have one that successfully cleaned everything but folders from it, but after a recent update something changed, and the menu now has a command and two separators on it that I'd prefer gone. #ScreenshotSaturday #browser #UI
