Is there a 2026 #web #browser that still supports browsing a #static #website stored in a folder hierarchy? I have such a website I've used for years, but modern browsers all sandbox the first #HTML page I access in a temp folder and none of the links resolve.

Since I'm in the EU, I don't have the new AI stuff on Google everyone is talking about and saying is broken lately, but I have heard of a trick that will disable AI on the result page, and it's putting &udm=14 at the end of a google search URL. No idea if that works but you can try! (And tell me if it does!)

Edit : Apparently, if you don't want to set the parameter every time, you can use https://udm14.org by @tedium or also change your location to somewhere in Europe like France in Google's settings (but this will also change the location of results, so for example looking for train tickets would direct you to the french rail company).
