EDIT: The generator now works on mobile, because the font size is now based on the canvas size.
I've made a generator that produces art like this. It's not high tech, but the concept was exactly to use a very simple method to get awesome looking stuff. A large amount of colored Times New Roman characters get scattered randomly in a simple rule sequence.
