Ms. Que BanhWe picked up 2lbs of manilla #clams from #FannyBaySeafoodStore in #UnionBay by Denman/Hornby Islands ferry & ate them all on our first night at cabin last week. We had butter & garlic plus nuoc cham with lime juice & chili sauce for dipping. It was so good.
Cost us just over $20.

PhoenixSerenityI sent lots of environmental safety violations & toxification of salmon bearing creek in #UnionBay with evidence they left behind deformed fish in jars. They also left behind a lot of barrels that still had remnants of poison in them. I broke into the site. I told MOWI International & BC & fed govt that I broke in & challenged them to charge me with trespassing. I wanted them to charge me. I wanted to go to court & show all evidence collected. DFO never responded & site is still not cleaned up 😡

It's now 9 months since I tried contacting BC & Canada govts about abandoned #FishFarm hatchery site in #UnionBay on #VancouverIsland owned by #MowiInternational for multiple #environmental #ecosystems #violations & irresponsible industry actions/lack thereof. There's #toxic wastewater #contaminating soil & fish bearing creek there. Almost no proper cleanup was done. It's a #biohazard site & should be fully cleaned up. Abandoned for about a decade. Wifi & power still runs there, on public tax $.
