Today we were lucky enough to check in again with little T46B8 Pi, one of the youngest members of the Bigg's killer whale population. The T46Bs were heading north off Chemainus in gorgeous conditions.

This is a transient orca visiting the Salish Sea with a small family group from its pod. Whale watch season begins soon, and I'm hoping to see some of our Southern Resident orcas this year.
