It costs about $3.1 billion per year to operate the National Park Service.

I can't speak for others (especially if they are worth billions of dollars, which I am not), but it seems to me that if one wished to operate the U.S. government like a business - this would be a great case study for how to do it.

Seems pretty efficient to me.

Natural Bridge State Park in Natural Bridge, VA, seen from below the bridge. This natural ancient rock bridge was visited by several early US presidents, including Washington and Jefferson. It still stands today and is a natural wonder.

Natural Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark in 1988. At the center of the park, the 200-foot tall Natural Bridge sits in a limestone gorge carved out by Cedar Creek.
