I absolutely love the marshes along the Georgia coast. Itβs amazing how many small creeks and estuaries kind of feed with each other. This one ends up feeding into the Ogeechee River before heading into the Atlantic. Fort McAllister State Park is very underrated. Itβs a lovely park with a great campground and lovely cabins.

Ranger Sarah spots a Western Rat Snake (Pantherophis obsoletus) commonly known in Arkansas as the black snake or black rat snake, is a large, nonvenomous, and highly beneficial species prevalent statewide. Growing up to 7 feet, these constrictors are excellent climbers known for eating rodents in barns and trees, appearing solid black with a white chin and keeled scales.
