Virginia’s Highland County Maple Fest was a fun day. There were even some snow remnants despite all the warmer days. Maple syrup, candy, bbq, ice cream, donuts, and cotton candy were all delish, and very good tours of some sugar camps. However, I think my highlight was buying a black bear tshirt from Teddy Roosevelt.
#FallingSpringFalls is another great Virginia waterfall. While I usually prefer a good hike in to a secluded falls, it´s nice this one is easily accessible to anyone right off US220.
Hype for the Future 133L: Shannondale, West Virginia
Overview Shannondale is a modern, unincorporated census-designated place representative of the relatively recent constructions of exurban Washington, DC, in the State of West Virginia and particularly within Jefferson County at the eastern end of the Eastern Panhandle of the State. There was so many different types of cool rocks with lichen growing on them in the #BlueRidgeMountains.
