On 6/11/1447, a review meeting for the community-based nutrition services (CBNI) project, implemented by the Hedaf Foundation with the financial cooperation of UNICEF, was held in Nangarhar. The meeting was attended by officials from the Department of Public Health, UNICEF, Hedaf, and the implementing MHCO organization.

The authorities in Paktika province have announced the construction of a center for the treatment of malnourished children in the Khwarizak district.

The center, which cost 12.5 million Afghanis, has six treatment rooms.

In addition to the Khwarizak district, the clinic will provide treatment for malnourished children from four neighboring districts.

The clinic was built with financial support from UNICEF.
