UNICEF delivered a consignment of 29 types of medicines to the zonal specialist hospital, district hospitals, and health centers in Nangarhar province.

According to information, 15 types of the medicines are designated for the zonal specialist hospital and 14 types for the district hospitals, which will be distributed to the relevant centers shortly.

India has donated 13 tons of BCG vaccine along with other medical supplies to Afghanistan to support its childhood tuberculosis (TB) immunization program. According to the Indian External Ministry’s official Facebook page, this donation has been made in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to bolster childhood vaccination efforts in Afghanistan.
