JC, I disagree with you. The buyer in the market who was ready to wait for the Twingo, instead of buying a cheaper Chinese car, is rooting for a cheap version as a second car. Maybe the main car is still a diesel van for longer trips. The Twingo will be there to go for a baguette, take kids to school, and drive to the Train station. AC at 11kW will be more than enough, to charge where you park, stay for an hour or even 8hours and be able to get back home without any problem. I never had a problem finding a 22kW AC charger for my 9 year old Zoe in southern France, you travel differently, you do #electrictourism stopping at villages that you would otherwise have never known or stopped at. Promote slow charging, promote protecting battery degradation, traveling and stopping for healthy French 🇫🇷food and not the typical "MacDo charge 🍔" and eat crap. Promote AC charging with added value services that want a customer longer than 20 minutes. Promote staying at a local hotel or hostel with a nightly AC charger, instead of online booking quick A to B travel. Promote "doing things" (visiting French museums, restaurants, centre villes, parks, castles, sightseeing) while charging, Park&Ride with slow AC charging, any car is only in use 3-4% of the time, the majority will only do less than 80 km in a day. #VisitFrance And hello 👋 promoters of eMobility, why is a fossil behaviour of quick charging, similar to wet-fueling being promoted for EVs. 🤔 Today I was happy to see a Schuko on a charger, because people still buy quadricycles and electric motorcycles.
