This story has been literal years in the making. While it's not a personal retelling of what I went through in my self-discovery, it is written in part through the many emotions and feelings I experienced while I was trying to understand who I was.

This book is, of everything I've written, the book I've been the most scared to publish for so, so many reasons. Even now I'm still full of anxiety about it. But I hope you all will like it.

If there is a goal I have with this book, it's that I'd like to beat my preorder record I set with Kotov Syndrome, which was 64 copies (13 on Amazon, 51 from Ingram Spark). I know full well this is very unlikely since it's a novella and since it's a trans identity book, but I want to try.

Can anyone recommend sci-fantasy or horror-fantasy written by trans men or masculine nonbinary people? I'm mostly into darker fantasy, think non-racist cosmic horror or creepy creatures. Not looking for romance, Tolkien, zombies, good elves, or books that revel in gore/splatter/pointless shock.

Specifically asking about trans masc authors because I stopped reading books by men about a decade ago and I want to branch out but I'm not trusting cis male authors again yet.

I can't do comics/manga, sorry.

Had to have. First, I came from a highly literate family. Words were very important. I would have lengthy talks with my mother about the finer means of words and we loved looking things up in the Partridge Entomological dictionary.

Second, my experience as a trans person growing up in a hostile world had colored my vision of the world. My characters reflect this, none of them reach adulthood without scars. They are not ashamed of who they are, but they paid a price. #Trans #Transgender #TransAuthor #transauthors

New little dopamine bunny.... wondering if it'd be worthwhile to see if I could put together a directory for people to submit books with Transmasc main characters.

I know I write equestrian lit (horse stories) with transmasc main characters, and I bet there's some in the romance writing community (which I'm adjacent to), but not sure what's out there for general genre fiction.

Thoughts appreciated.
