@Starcade There are a few exceptions but generally I don't like "quirky" or farsical films & usually screen out the most obvious of them.

#Bruges also co-stars Brendan Gleeson & Colin Farrell; again not sure why I couldn't get into it as opposed to Banshees.

I also don't like predictable sitcoms like #HomeAlone because they're boring to me.

I know it's considered an #XmasClassic but it bored me because I knew without watching all of it, what was going to happen. Same for the sequels that I never bothered to watch.

The Terminal just bored me; probably because I already knew the story upon which it was based & wasn't interested in how the movie was similar or different from it.

I started but didn't finish #TicketToParadise would end because it was just a formula vehicle for Roberts & Clooney who I knew would fail to stop their daughter's marriage &, of course, fall in love again in the process; boring again.

@Starcade It's hard for me to come up with a list of movies that I "hate" or that are my "least favorites" because I usually pre-select them out so that I do not end up watching any such movies.

For me, the list would be :movies that I started to watch but couldn't finish" (which are movies that I usually turn off w/in the 1st 10-15 minutes).

Off the top of my head these are a few of them:

1) #GrandBudapestHotel (2014)
2) #InBruges (2008) not sure I could watch #Banshees but not this one.
3) #Her (2013)
4) #AfterYang (2021)
5) #HomeAlone (1990)
6) #OBrotherWhereArtThou (2000)
7) #MenWhoStareAtGoats (2009)
8) #TheTerminal (2004)
9) #TicketToParadise (2022)
10) #BillyMadison (1995)

It's no surprise that certain actors are featured in more than one of these but that doesn't mean I don't like other movies of theirs.

There is also a long list of movies that I like (or at least don't hate) that I've seen & rewatched in their entirely many times over. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

There's no accounting for "taste." πŸ˜‰

A divorced couple teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago.

I’m now officially in the dad category because I watched Ticket to Paradise, a completely harmless and irrelevant romcom starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts. I’m not sure why this film exists, but that’s okay. I mean, you see two of the former biggest movie stars obviously having a great time and neither of them has lost any of their charisma. Maybe that’s enough of a selling point for a film, at least it was for me.

With Bali as the setting of this movie, for sure that i am proud as an Indonesian. The simple love story and beautiful view are nice combination. This is a typical slow movie, it might make some of viewer get bored in some scenes.
