I call bullshit on the government's claim that mandatory #DigitalID is to curb spam/scam calling.
Mandatory registration of phone numbers has already been the law for decades, using cryptographic signing with our MyKad.
But there is zero enforcement on the endless spam/scam calls going on every day. A black-box government "app" isn't going to fix anything.
Do not accept the barefaced LIES that revocation of our basic civic rights is somehow "necessary".

Every single Malaysian app is broken, incompetent, or outright predatory. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE.
And now we are told that our basic civic rights are now subject to installing more of these apps.
Until rather recently, it wasn't even possible for me to buy actual USB3 cables without special orders at exorbitant prices. There are still flagship phones today that only do 480mbps on their USB ports.
Then I realized, the vast majority of consumers today have never even considered transferring anything over a cable any more.
People literally buy another phone when they run out of storage space.
